This past Friday, May 15th, 2020, HakubiVerse kicked off their official Twitch channel with a soft opening by Sephi Hakubi called the SAWFT Stream. As the call to stay inside homes limited the World’s way of nightlife, many live performers have shifted to a paradigm to performing online through streaming. HakubiVerse has now officially joined the paradigm with their own channel: twitch.tv/hakubiverse. Kicking off the new channel, Sephi performed a 2-hour Trance set exclusive to Twitch and paying respects to DJ Wildfire and his family; along with giving tribute to the recently closed Dallas Trance hotspot, Lizard Lounge. The result of the stream seemed positive as there seemed to be little technical difficulty during the music performance and reception was overall positive, so much so that Sephi has decided to host another “SAWFT Stream” next Friday, May 22nd; this time instead of 2 hours and starting at 10PM Central, Sephi will go live at 9PM and mix for 1 hour, intending on playing HandsUp and Eurodance; then, should DJ Wildfire return to host Friday Night Inferno, HakubiVerse will proceed to raid Wildfire’s stream; otherwise, continue with another hour on HakubiVerse. Sephi’s goal for HakubiVerse’s channel is to achieve Affiliate status before July as he claims to have a major announcement once they do so: be sure to follow HakubiVerse’s channel: twitch.tv/hakubiverse to figure out soon what that announcement is and also follow Sephi’s channel at twitch.tv/sephihakubi for other content such as game streaming and live chatting.
If you have happened to miss the SAWFT Stream considering its very limited promotion, you still have a chance to watch the Video On Demand (VOD) while it’s still available (remember that VODs expire after 60-Days [HakubiVerse is a Prime channel].
